Our maintenance plans

Why have a scheduled maintenance plan?

Extended life of the equipment – Reduce power consumption – Limit breakdowns and loss of product.

Our Fixed Price Plan is based on a per unit charge and is serviced by a fully qualified A2Z refrigeration mechanic.

We ask our clients to choose the frequency of the maintenance plan whilst giving our best recommendations. Generally maintenance is performed 3, 4, 6, or 12 monthly, then we need to know how many pieces of equipment are required to be serviced. Once we have all the information we tailor a maintenance plan for your business needs.

Maintain your refrigeration with self-care maintenance plans

In addition to professional regular maintenance, you should be maintaining your fridge with self-care maintenance plans. You should clean the condenser coil every week, with an additional check up from a trained professional every six months. The condenser coil can be cleaned using a soft brush, but always remember to disconnect the power handling this kind of job. If the condenser coil builds up too much dust and grime it can lead to the compressor failing and an emergency call to the refrigeration mechanic.

You should also be maintaining the inside of the fridge and the fridge door seals. Clear out your fridge and clean off any build up of ice, and make sure to remove any grime or dirt from the door seals to prevent them sticking or degrading. You should regularly check your door seals to make sure they are closing properly, as any leak could cause your refrigeration to warm. If your fridge seals are not closing properly, gives us a call and we can repair them for you. To complete your self-care maintenance plan, make sure to check the plug and electrical lead of your fridge for any issues. This will reduce the potential for power trips and shocks.
